I have no words to share because I’m tired. I’ve been tired. But there are captions and, most importantly, photos because documenting is necessary.
The woman quickly covered her face when she saw my camera. I still feel conflicted about taking pictures of protests and rallies, but I thought this sign was a nice way to cover your face.
The American Flag, often associated with Trump, was on display at the rally, and protesters were holding it as well. Perhaps because people are trying to find ways to reclaim the flag and change its image.
They reminded me to turn on airplane mode. To be on the safe side, it’s better to leave your phone behind.
The majority of those who attended were over 50.
“YOU FUCKING COMMUNISTS.” This individual repeated this to those participating in the rally.
A man yelling “Fucking Communists” tried directing traffic. An organizer tried talking to him, and the man in black hit the volunteer with his umbrella.
The man told the police officers he was trying to walk home.
